VPCM Wants to Teach you how to Drive and Promote the Vento 1.2 at Nationwide Roadshow

In an effort to promote the Vento to potential customers and the public, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) announced that it will be organizing the “Vento Turbocharged Tour” which will be held at 11 selected locations across the country.

According to VPCM, the tour will provide participants with the opportunity to test drive the Vento 1.2 TSI and experience the car's turbocharged engine, and also be educated on basic car safety and driving skills.

This includes lessons on proper sitting and steering wheel position, emergency braking, defensive driving skills and slalom courses.

Besides that, members of the public can also participate in various stunt demos sessions.

Speaking of the Vento, the car comes with a 1.2l TSI turbocharged direct injection engine that is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

Offering the highest torque in its class, the Vento is also rated 5-star by ASEAN NCAP for its range of safety features including Electronic Stability Control (ESC) which participants can put to the test.

Besides the Vento, other Volkswagen models will also be available for test drive at the tour.

According to VPCM, visitors will also get to enjoy special offers on bookings made during the event.

The “Vento Turbocharged Tour” is free of charge and the driving activities are open to those with a valid driver’s license. Details of the first three Tours are listed below:
