The campaign, at least in its first outing, intends to show off the Vios’ more dynamic and sporty side.There's got a lot going on during the one minute commercial - four Vios’ take on urban Malaysia and drift impressively around Putrajaya while a quartet of skydivers chase them down. And there’s even a pretty girl.The campaign itself was brought to screen by film director Ryo Miyakoshi and Director of Photography Hiromi Tsushima and features professional stunt drivers from team Chiba of Japan behind the wheel of the four sideways Vios’. Akio Takeyama, Deputy Chairman, UMW Toyota Motor said, “Our intention is to communicate to the people of the Vios’ advanced handling abilities and controllability. This is what we are demonstrating through this commercial.”The campaign will also be supplemented by four additional videos that show what went on behind the scenes to create the 60-second show, with interviews with the Japanese drivers and perspective from UMW Toyota Motor’s top management.Additionally, the four cars used in the TVC are currently seeing more action at the UMW Toyota Motor WOW 2 Road Tours along with other on-ground activities on selected dates. There, the public will be able to witness and experience first-hand the Vios’ driving capabilities and its improvements in comfort and performance.
