Toyota Opens Next Generation Concept Showroom In Johor Bahru

UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT), the sole importer and distributor for Toyota vehicles in Malaysia has officially opened its doors to a new showroom in Johor Bahru which features the Next Generation Toyota Showroom concept. This new facility replaces the previous showroom at Jalan Kebun Teh.

The new concept includes the latest layout and design that reflect a modern showroom. It offers a stylish and comfortable lounge area, a coffee station and internet connectivity. For parents who bring kids, a playroom is also available to keep them entertained.

Mr. Akio Takeyama, Deputy Chairman of UMW Toyota Motor said at the ceremony, “This showroom in Johor Bahru is the first UMWT’s showroom that features the Next Generation Toyota Showroom concept. This new initiative was to upgrade the overall Toyota showrooms environment all over the region with a new concept that would appeal to the younger generation while maintaining Toyota’s Corporate Image.”

The showroom also has special display area to highlight new vehicle models or key sales models, as well as a display to show the lifestyle image projected on Toyota models. To enhance the customer experience, the concept showroom also houses an accessories display area and a merchandise corner where customers could browse and purchase Toyota TRD merchandise items.
