主页 新闻 所有资讯 Toyota Crown’s Malaysia’s Maiden Racing ESport Champion Toyota Crown’s Malaysia’s Maiden Racing ESport Champion 所有资讯 Siew Weng | September 24日, 2018 10:23 AM After two days of qualifying and racing at Sunway Pyramid, Muhammad Uzair Bin S Abdul Nasir Khan was the first to cross the finishing line and crowned as champion of the inaugural Toyota Velocity Esport Championship.For his hard work and sheer talent in battling with the very best of Malaysia’s Gran Turismo Sport players, Muhammad Uzair takes home RM20,000 and the championship trophy.Second-place went to Mior Muhammad Hafiz Mior Lahmudin and awarded RM10,000, while Aiman Haziq Aidi completed the podium and received RM5,000. The remaining seven finalists also receive RM2,000 each. All 400 qualifying slots that were spread between two days of play were taken up within a short time after UMW Toyota (UMWT) announced the event. Players were required to set their fastest lap time using the Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept vehicle on the technical Suzuka Circuit. Muhammad Uzair also clocked the fastest qualifying time of 1:57.58 on Saturday. The fastest 20 players then proceeded to a semi-final and then grand final 10-lap race with the fastest 10 players. The Playstation 4 machines were also fitted with the latest Thrustmaster T-GT controller for precise driver input as well as vehicle feedback.“We are delighted with the overwhelming response from the public towards the very first Toyota Velocity Championship.
