The NeuV, which simply means New Electric Urban Vehicle, is powered by a 55 kW electric motor and a 20 kWh battery pack which enable the vehicle to travel up to 322 km before running out of power. An interesting thing about the NeuV is that it can also sell electricity back to the power grid when not in use.

According to Honda, the NeuV is an EV concept model that explores the potential of mobility products which will be further be expanded by the brand’s automated driving technologies and AI systems.

The NeuV is so smart that it makes judgments about the driver’s state of stress based on facial expressions and/or tone of voice and provides assistance to the driver to support safe driving, and by learning the driver’s lifestyle and preferences, provides suggestions to the particular driver, realizing communication between driver and mobility.

In addition to all of the above, the system learns from the driver by detecting emotions behind their judgements, and makes new choices and recommendations based on past decisions.

It will also monitor the driver’s emotional well-being, support the owner’s daily driving routine, and even make music recommendations based on mood.
