Tokyo 2017: Daihatsu DN Compagno – The Perodua Bezza We Want But Can't Have
所有资讯Small in stature, but by no means, light on ambition – is Daihatsu’s Compagno four-door coupe, unveiled for the first time at the ongoing 2017 Tokyo Motorshow.
The DN Compagno pays tribute to the stylish approach to design, first seen on the original Daihatsu Compagno, from 1963.
And far from being designed for younger customers – the Campagno is targeted at senior citizens with an active lifestyle. The small stylish ‘coupe’ is designed comfortably seat two adults and provides colorful support to enrich the driving experience.
The DN Compagno is 4,200 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,430 mm in height, which makes it similar in size to a Perodua Bezza, which measures 4,150 mm in length, 1,620 mm in width and 1,510 mm in height.
The vehicle prioritizes the relaxing comfort of the two front seats, complemented by trendy, high-quality interior.
Daihatsu is light on definitive figures for the DN Compagno, but confirmed the car features a 1,000cc turbocharged powertrain, with the option of a 1,200cc hybrid.
It is highly likely, that should the Compagno be cleared for production, it will be based on the Daihatsu New Global Architecture ( DNGA ), which like parent company Toyota’s TNGA platform – allows better-quality to be developed quicker and marketed at more affordable prices.
