Spyshot: Geely VF11 MPV Spied, Potential Exora Replacement?

Geely’s all-new MPV has been caught completely undisguised for the first time ever. The new model will succeed the ageing Emgrand EV8.

Codenamed VF11, the all-new MPV from Geely is reportedly going to carry the company’s line of G-Power engines. Hybrid versions of the VF11 could be introduced later on. 

Set to go on sale in the second half of 2018, the all-new Geely MPV features the company’s corporate grille up front, flanked by a pair of headlights with LED DRLs. The lower air intake extends horizontally across, giving the new Geely a large smiling face.

Towards the rear, the Geely MPV gets a floating roof design, much like the Geely Concept MPV that was unveiled at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show back in April. A chrome strip connects both tail lamps together. Unlike other large MPVs, the Geely MPV does not get power sliding doors, instead gets a more traditional four door approach.

Inside, we can see that the all-new Geely MPV gets a dual-tone interior colour scheme, as well as the rear digital air-conditioning controls. According to Autohome, the all-new MPV is reportedly a seven-seater but actual seating arrangement is yet to be confirmed. 

Closer to home, the all-new Geely MPV is an excellent candidate to replace the ageing Proton Exora, which has undergone a number of nip and tucks since its introduction in 2008.
