Spyshot: All-New Mazda 3 Spotted In Thailand
所有资讯The C-segment market is expected to heat up soon, as the all-new Mazda 3 sedan and hatchback have just been spotted in Thailand. This comes just slightly a month after the sighting of the all-new Toyota Corolla Altis in the Kingdom.
As seen on some social media platform, the all-new Mazda 3 has been spotted in Thailand, signalling that a Thai debut is happening soon.
First shown to the public at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, the all-new Mazda 3 is built on the new SkyActiv Vehicle Architecture and is powered by a range of diesel and petrol engines, including the revolutionary SkyActiv-X petrol engine.
The all-new Mazda 3 was introduced to the Australian market last month, with prices starting from AUD 24,990, an increase of AUD 4,500 from the model it replaces. The most expensive 2.5-litre petrol variant of the all-new 3 is priced at AUD 37,900, a 20 percent premium over the most expensive Honda Civic.
When the model is introduced here, don’t expect it be as cheap as the current model (RM 106,994 to RM 124,146). Even when the all-new model is launched here, the SkyActiv-X engine may not be introduced here as the engine alone costs more and is limited to countries with strict emission regulations, ie Europe and USA.
With the all-new 3, Mazda is aiming to move the 3 further upmarket. It’s safe to say that the new model could be seen as a budget Audi, or at least that’s Mazda’s aim for the all-new 3.
