Spyshot - 2017 Kia Optima GT For Malaysia, Estimated Price RM175k?

Just two days after we posted the first set of pictures of the upcoming 2017 Kia Optima GT, leaked by a Kia dealer’s Facebook page, we were once again tipped off on this second set of photos, which showed the Optima GT in a different, darker colour.

This set of photos also shows Optima GT’s rear.

Sources familiar with the upcoming Optima GT have also indicated that the 2.0-litre turbocharged 245 PS and 350 Nm Optima GT will be the sole engine powering the all-new Optima. The currently naturally aspirated 2.0-litre Nu CVVL engine is likely to be dropped from the all-new Optima’s range.

Prices have yet to be confirmed but our sources have suggested an estimated price of RM175,888, which is cheaper than the RM180,937 (excluding insurance) Volkswagen Passat 1.8 TSI Comfortline. Once again, this is just a rumoured price.

The 2017 Kia Optima GT is expected to be launched in Malaysia later this month.
