Spied: 2018 Toyota C-HR Caught In Malaysia
所有资讯UMW Toyota Motor previewed the Toyota C-HR last weekend during the Carlist.my MAA DRIVE event. From what we understand, the company is looking at a 2018 debut for the new C-HR. However, homologation is now on-track as indicated by this spyshot.
Seen here is a Toyota C-HR with its emblems taped up driving along a highway. We reported earlier that the preview unit brought in by UMW Toyota Motor was an Australian-spec unit, which could be different from the ones we will be receiving. We understand that Malaysia-bound units will receive a 1.8-litre naturally-aspirated mill paired to a CVT-type automatic transmission, sending drive to the front wheels.
Sources say that this particular unit is for internal use.
Could a late 2017 debut be on the cards? Watch this space for more updates.
