Shanghai 2019: World Premiere Of Renault City K-ZE Electric SUV
所有资讯Renault has unveiled its first A-segment electric SUV, the City K-ZE, at the ongoing Auto Shanghai 2019 motor show.
First shown as a concept at last year’s Paris Motor Show, the City K-ZE is the first product of the joint venture company between the Renault and China’s Dongfeng Motor Group, and as such is an SUV that is designed and produced for the Chinese market. Start of sales will be announced before the end of 2019.
The City K-ZE electric SUV has a wheelbase of 2,423mm – almost identical to the Renault Kwid SUV which is available in some markets – and boasts a ground clearance of 150mm. Bootspace is a claimed 300 litres. Renault has yet to release the full dimensions of the vehicle.
Little is known about the battery capacity or the powertrain at this stage, but the Renault City K-ZE is said to feature multiple charging modes and is compatible with both 220V domestic plugs and public infrastructures. It can be recharged up 80 percent of capacity within 50 mins using a fast charger, a slow charge requires 4 hours to fully recharge the battery.
On the inside, the K-ZE will feature an 8-inch LCD touch screen with 4G-WiFi connectivity and smart voice recognition. The Renault City K-ZE also packs 'PM2.5' air quality sensors to evaluate cabin air quality and automatically switch between interior and exterior air circulation.
The City K-ZE will offer safety features such as a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and rear camera.
