Perodua Myvi D20N – ESC Standard, Advance Safety Assist, RM44k – RM55k

The order books are officially open for the third-generation Perodua Myvi D20N slated for launch soon and set to be previewed at the upcoming MAI Autoshow 2017 happening this week at MAEPS, Serdang.

As before, the D20N Myvi is offered with a choice between 1.3- and 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engines, albeit new Dual VVT-i units from the all-aluminium NR family manufactured in Sendayan.

Each engine is offered with a choice of two trim levels – the base 1.3G available with a choice between 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmissions, whilst the rest of the range are exclusively automatics. The most fuel efficient variant of the range, presumably the 1.3 manual base model, is rated with official fuel consumption of 20.1 km/l.

On-the-road price excluding insurance for individual private registration in Peninsular Malaysia are summarized below:

• 1.3 G AT: RM46,300
• 1.3 X AT: RM48,300
• 1.5 H AT: RM51,800
• 1.5 AV AT: RM55,300

East Malaysia buyers top up an additional RM2,000 under the same terms.

Compared to its predecessor, the new Myvi makes a major leap in its equipment offering – all variants coming standard with keyless entry LED headlamps, electronic stability control, and a minimum of four airbags; both 1.5-litre variants get six.

The range-topping 1.5 AV variant sets new standards of safety in its price segment by offering the Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) package consisting of pre-collision warning and autonomous emergency braking.
