After that, the device will be priced at RM430. According to Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd Managing Director Dato's Dr Zahari Husin, the GearUp Smart Bluetooth TPMS is locally developed and manufactured, and is backed by a 6-month warranty. The Perodua GearUp Smart Bluetooth TPMS comprises of four individual tyre sensors and an in-car device. The tyre sensors are screwed on to each tyre valve, replacing the valve caps that transmit tyre pressure information via Bluetooth to the in-car device. The in-car device has four lights that represents the four tyres of the vehicles, lighting up and beeping when the pressure of any tyres falls below the 8% of the recommended values. Apart from the in-car device, users can also download the FOBO Tire mobile app in order to get real-time tyre pressure information. The app is available on the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. To prevent the tyre sensors from being stolen, a lock nut spanner is included to lock the tyre sensors. Also, the in-car device features a built-in motion sensor that automatically sends the device into sleep mode when no motion is detected.
