In the past, if you live somewhere in the Northern region of Peninsular Malaysia and wanted a Porsche, there are only two options – you can either buy a reconditioned parallel-imported unit with questionable history and take your chances with after-sales, or you drive down Kuala Lumpur and make a trip there again every time your Porsche needs some maintenance work done.

That sort of hassle is now a thing of the past because Sime Darby Auto Performance, the authorized distributor of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia, has today officially launched Porsche Centre Penang - its third 3S centre in the country after Porsche Centre Glenmarie and Porsche Centre Sg. Besi.

Located along Jalan Baru in Seberang Perai, the RM 15 million facility is built on 102,524 sq ft of land, out of which 35,575 sq ft is the build-up area.

The new Porsche Centre Penang is designed to display as many as 10 cars in the showroom. The new facility has two air conditioned dialogue bays and a spacious after sales reception, integrated with the exclusive Carrera Lounge, which offers luxurious comfort and modern conveniences to customers during their visit. The state-of-the-art workshop features 9 service bays as well as a warehouse for spare parts. In addition, Porsche customers can browse through the Porsche Driver’s Selection shop in shop with a selection of the latest apparel, personal accessories and toys from Porsche.
