Paris 2016: Ferrari GTC4Lusso T Premieres; Simultaneous Global Debut In KL
所有资讯The Ferrari GTC4Lusso four-seater grand tourer receives a V8-powered variant, the GTC4Lusso T, which makes its global debut at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. Concurrent with its debut in Paris, local Ferrari distributor Naza Italia was also able to showcase the model to Malaysian audiences at a preview event held in Kuala Lumpur.
Powering the GTC4Lusso T is Ferrari’s award-winning 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 that is also used in the California T and 488. In mitigation of turbo lag, Ferrari has implemented what it calls Variable Boost Management (VBM) to adjust boost levels of the turbo across all ratios from third to seventh gear.
The turbocharged GTC4Lusso T produces 602hp at 7,500rpm and 760Nm from 3,000 to 5,250rpm, all of which are sent to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. These outputs enable the GTC4Lusso T to accelerate from rest to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds on the way to a top speed in excess of 320 km/h.
Unlike the all-wheel-driven V12 GTC4Lusso, the GTC4Lusso T sends power only to its rear wheels, but nevertheless maintains the V12 model’s four-wheel steering system (4WS), which is integrated with side slip control (SSC3) for quicker steering response.
The naturally-aspirated GTC4Lusso, which debuted in February as successor to the Ferrari FF, produces 681hp and 697Nm from its 6.3-litre V12.
The GTC4Lusso T becomes the first V8 turbo-powered four-seater ever produced by Ferrari. For Malaysian customers, prices start at a handsome price of RM 1.088 million before options and duties.
