MINI Introduces Countryman Wired and Pure Variants

MINI Malaysia has introduced two new variants of its MINI Countryman SUV model, the Wired and Pure, which boasts additional aesthetics and convenience features.

The Wired (based off the Countryman ALL4 PHEV) and Pure (based off the Countryman Cooper S) come as standard with the 4G-enabled MINI Connected suite which among others offer MINI Online, MINI Concierge Service, and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Comfort Access, Park Assist, Front and Rear PDC, Auto Tailgate, a rearview camera, and the MINI Picnic Bench are also included as standard.

For the Countryman PHEV, the Wired Package now sports new 19-inch ‘Edged’ spoke rims with run flat tyres. Additionally, MINI bonnet stripes, a hexagonal front grille, and roof colour options in black or white further spice up the exterior.

The interior is further decked out with a Cross Punch Carbon Black leather upholstery. The MINI Yours Illuminated interior trims and steering wheel further demarcate the Wired variant. A new 8.8-inch touchscreen display is complemented by the MINI Head-up display to relay driving information. A Harman Kardon 12-speaker sound system provides entertainment.

The Countryman Cooper S Pure gets 18-inch ‘Black Pin’ spoke rims and LED headlights as standard, bonnet stripes and black roof colour rounds off the exterior highlights.

The interior the same Cross Punch leather seats as the Wired variant, while a Hazy Grey interior trim colour is contrasted by a beige headliner up top. The Pure variant gets a smaller 6.5-inch touchscreen display in the centre console.

The Countryman Wired and Pure variants retail for RM 228,888 and RM 250,888 respectively, inclusive of a 4-Year unlimited mileage warranty, 5-year roadside assistance, and free scheduled service.
