New MINI (F54) Cooper S Clubman Launched In Malaysia – RM298,888

MINI Malaysia has formally introduced the facelifted (F54) MINI Cooper S Clubman (considered the “Estate” version of new MINIs) which carries a host of exterior and interior enhancements, a new transmission system and a range of additional connectivity equipment.

This signifies a growing demand for MINI vehicles nationwide, and we are excited to introduce yet another MINI model to bring fun-filled driving to MINIacs everywhere.”

In terms of the exterior, the new Clubman features a redesigned radiator grille, new fog lights, and new LED headlamp assembly – which features a white light ting surrounding the headlamps that serve both as daytime driving light and as a turn indicator. Everything is much the same down the sides and back save the 18-inch “British Spoke” light alloy wheels as part of the MINI Yours trim package. The Clubman also comes with a new exterior colour, dubbed Indian Summer Red.

The MINI Yours package also extends to the inside, offering up a ‘Walknappa’ leather steering wheel, Carbon Black (Walknappa) leather seat upholstery, floor mats, and Frozen Blue ambient lighting. The seats also feature the iconic Union Jack motif on the headrests and a 12-Speaker Harman Kardon Sound System plays your favourite tunes.

Another new addition to the interior is the high-resolution 6.5-inch MINI Navigation System with a touch screen display with built-in 4G SIM technology, offering upgraded connectivity courtesy of features such as Apple Carplay, MINI Online, Intelligent Emergency Call, and MINI TeleServices.

Under the hood is a 2.0-litre MINI TwinPower Turbo engine that produces 192 hp and 280Nm of torque, coupled to a new 7-Speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for faster shifts and better fuel economy. The new transmission also boasts a coasting function, available in both the MID and GREEN driving modes, which disengages the drivetrain when the driver removes their foot from the accelerator pedal. This allows the MINI to roll along at idling speed – free of any engine braking effect.

Performance stats read 7.2 seconds for the 0-100 km/h sprint and a top speed of 228 km/h. The combined fuel economy is rated at 6.2-litres/100km.

The New MINI Clubman will be available at all authorised MINI dealerships nationwide starting today and retails for RM298,888 replete with the MINI 4-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty (with Free Scheduled Service), and 5-Year Roadside Assistance programme.
