Now known as the Elise S Cup, it carries over several features from the racing model courtesy of the Lotus Test and Development team.An aerodynamic package comprised of a front splitter and winglets, barge boards, rear diffuser, and rear wing. The roadster’s previously removable roof is also replaced with a fixed one. This not only enhances the visual appeal of the road-legal Elise S Cup, but also produces 66 kg of downforce at 160 km/h and up to 125 kg at the top speed of 225 km/h.To help get the Elise S Cup up to those speeds, a 1.8-litre four-cylinder DOHC supercharged engine is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, producing 217 hp and 250 Nm of torque. In the 0-100 km/h sprint, the road racer will accomplish it in 4.2 seconds.The cabin reflects the racing nature of the car, by being barren and only providing the driver what he/she needs. That includes a roll-hoop that allows a full roll-cage to be fitted along with competition harnesses.
