主页 新闻 所有资讯 Lockdown 3.0: Travelling During Lockdown – Distance Allowed And Roadblock Locations Lockdown 3.0: Travelling During Lockdown – Distance Allowed And Roadblock Locations 所有资讯 Arvind | June 21日, 2021 04:48 PM The current nationwide lockdown 3.0 – enforced between 1st-14th June 2021 – will see increased enforcement of travel between districts and further restrictions on where you can and cannot go. In the light of national daily case counts rising past the 8,000 mark and more lethal variants of the virus, the latest range of SOPs aims to restrict any unnecessary travel while still allowing essential services and industries to function normally. The government has increased manpower for enforcement, from 37,000 officers (during the PKP 3.0) to 55,000 officers currently ranging from the police, army, immigration forces, and the People's Volunteer Corps (RELA). Alongside, approximately 20,000 officers will be tasked with enforcing the SOPs with random spot checks at common public areas and various economic sectors. The current lockdown will be enforced over three phases, gradually reopening sectors if the current measures are successful in managing and reducing the severity of the pandemic: Phase 1 (June 1st – June 14th): Total lockdown on all economic sectors except essential services as listed by the National Security Council (NSC) Phase 2 (4 Weeks post Phase 1): Gradual reopening of sectors that do not include large gatherings, in compliance with social distancing SOPs. Phase 3 (MCO as previously enforced): Reopening of most economic sectors with strict SOPs, limited workplace presence. In addition, 800 roadblocks, up from 600 during the PKP 3.0, will be set up to control movement and penalise drivers that go against the travel restrictions. Here’s a handy guide if you are still required to travel during the current lockdown: Only two occupants per car (per household), except during medical emergencies, where the patient and two others are allowed in the same car. 10km travel from point of residence allowed barring no interstate or interdistrict travel. Travel for vaccination and medical attention allowed, but only to the nearest facility. No time curfew of travel. Members of the public advised to travel only for essential daily items and medical supplies, and return home by 8.00 PM. Petrol stations allowed to operate between 6.00 AM and 8.00 PM, except locations along highways.
