KLIMS 2018: Citroen C3 Aircross Previewed, Coming In 2019
所有资讯Naza Euro Motors, the official distributor for the Citroën brand in Malaysia has previewed the C3 Aircross ahead of its local launch next year at the ongoing 2018 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (2018 KLIMS).
Inspired by the C-Aircross concept first unveiled at the 2017 Geneva motor show, the Citroën C3 Aircross – along with its larger C5 Aircross sibling – are among the latest products as part of Citroen’s global SUV product offensive.
The C3 Aircross measures 4,154 mm in length, 1,756 mm in width, and 1,637 mm in height making it comparable in size to other compact SUVs like Renault Captur and Mazda CX-3.
Styling wise, the C3 Aircross retains the two-tiered LED headlamp assembly of the concept vehicle, as well as its unique rear quarter windows which are made of polycarbonate with a coloured layer in the centre. Along the flanks, the C3 Aircross comes fitted with 17-inch ‘4Ever’ alloy wheels.
The funky interior is highlighted by a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto, Mirror Link, and Apple CarPlay connectivity. In other markets, the C3 Aircross is offered with five different interior personalisation packages; it remains to be seen if the locally sold model will offer different interior packages besides the black/grey interior of the preview car.
The C3 Aircross offers 410 litres of bootspace in its normal configuration or up to 1,289 litres with rear seats folded down.
The C3 Aircross is powered by a Groupe PSA’s 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine which develops 112 PS and 205 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic. The C3 Aircross also comes as standard with ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, and ESC.
Four colour options have been confirmed – Natural White, Passion Red, Breathing Blue, and the preview unit’s Soft Sand. The C3 Aircross will be offered with a 5-year or 120,000 km manufacturer’s warranty (whichever comes first) and three-year roadside assistance.
