KLIMS 2018: All-New Hyundai Santa-Fe Unveiled In Malaysia, Estimated From RM 188,000

Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has just unveiled the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe at the ongoing 2018 Kuala Lumpur International Motorshow (KLIMS 2018).

The fourth generation 7-seater Santa-Fe carries the brand’s new identity for its SUV line-up. The cascading front grille blends with stylish ultra-slim DRL cluster at the extreme edges of the bonnet.

The lighting clusters in the middle meanwhile consists of the LED head lamps and turn indicators that are vertically stacked.

A longer wheelbase between the four 19-inch wheels creates a bold stance of the all-new Santa Fe (model code TM) as well as increasing comfort for all occupants. Compared to its predecessor, the fourth generation Santa Fe has stretched the wheelbase by 65 millimetres.

The interior now features more soft-touch materials and added features such as a 7-inch digital instrument panel and another 7-inch floating-type touchscreen infotainment display.

Access to the third-row has been improved courtesy of a one-touch switch that simultaneously folds the backrest and slides the bench forward.

Other key features in the all-new Santa Fe include:

• Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity  

HSDM is offering the all-new Santa Fe with a choice of two powertrains: 2.4 MPi Petrol (172 PS / 225 Nm) 2WD and 2.2 Diesel (193 PS / 440 Nm) HTRAC AWD. One key feature of the turbocharged diesel mill is the transmission that now features 8 forward ratios.

MD of HSDM, Mr Low Yuan Lung said, “The many qualities that made the third generation Santa Fe a success was naturally retained. However, there are many new additions and upgrades to the fourth generation Santa-Fe that substantially raises the bar.”

HSDM was also proud to announce that the vehicle is now open for booking at all dealers with an estimated price of RM 188,000. At the point of purchase, the all-new Santa Fe comes with a five-year or 300,000-kilometre warranty with a free service package of up to 50,000 kilometres or the first 36 months of ownership.
