JPJ Patrol Cars In Johor To Use GoPro Cameras To Monitor Road Users This CNY
所有资讯The Johor Road Transport Department (JPJ) today fitted every one of its patrol cars in the state with GoPro action cameras in an effort to monitor motorists more efficiently this Chinese New Year festive season.
According to a report by Harian Metro today, the GoPro cameras in the patrol cars will be recording motorists throughout the “Ops Tahun Baru Cina 2019” operation which will be ongoing until 12th February.
Johor JPJ director Razali Wagiman said that if any offences or incidents are recorded, the footages will be used to assist further investigations.
The “Ops Tahun Baru Cina 2019”, which will involve a total of 150 JPJ officers throughout the state of Johor, will also focus on closely monitoring express bus drivers to prevent any traffic offences from being made.
It Is said that many undercover JPJ officers will be stationed at bus terminals, and also disguise as passengers in order to check on the conditions of buses, and also the drivers’ behaviour.
