Isuzu D-Max Gains A Fury Edition In The UK

Isuzu UK has launched a special edition model of its popular pickup dubbed the Isuzu D-Max Fury, expanding the pickup’s variant count to 10.

Exclusive to the UK-market, the Fury is much like the D-Max Diablo offered here in Malaysia, sporting stylish visual enhancements that distinguishes itself from a regular D-Max.

On the Fury, the immediate standout is the Magma Red metallic paint finish on it, only available with this unique variant. It also sports 17-inch, five-spoke grey alloy wheels wrapped with 255/65 R17 Pirelli Scorpion tyres.

Elsewhere, the exterior enhancements include a dark grey metallic finish for the front grille, accompanied by a bright red Isuzu logo at its centre. The door and tailgate handles are finished in Cosmic black while the heavy-duty side steps are gun metal grey. Finally, the rear bumper is painted black.

The visual changes extend into the cabin as well with red stitching on at various areas including the steering wheel (with red Isuzu logo) and gear knob. Fury carpet mats are also fitted as well. For the first 100 customers who opt to upgrade their interior upholstery to the Limited Edition Black and Red Fury leather, they will receive seats that have the ‘Fury’ badging stitched on the headrests of the front driver and passenger.

Under the hood, Isuzu’s 2.5-litre VGS turbo diesel engine producing 163PS and 400Nm of torque is found, mated to either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. Regardless of gearbox choice, four-wheel drive comes as standard.  

The Isuzu D-Max Fury was built to accompany the production class Jewson Isuzu D-Max Rally truck in the Britpart MSA British Cross Country Championship (BCCC). Prices start from £19,999 (RM124,888) to £22,324 (RM139,427).
