Of course, some stipulations apply. First of all, this is a temporary rate is only valid between Friday, April 21st and May 21st 2023 and does not apply to any summons issued for violations dated this year. Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) director Datuk Seri Mat Kasim Karim added the ‘special rate’ was for non-compoundable offences only and marks an 85% reduction in the average fine, demonstrating the government’s intention to reducing the financial burden of the Rakyat. How To Pay Your Outstanding Summons There are a couple of next-step options should you have outstanding traffic summons and intend to settle them during this heavily discounted period (April 21st to May 21st 2023) Of course and most obviously, payment can be made physically at the counter of any Police District Headquarters or Police Contingent Headquarters during weekdays. Alternatively, you could also use the MyBayar Saman portal at (https://mybayar.rmp.gov.my) or via the MyBayar Saman app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
