Hyundai Motor will expand the range of SUVs in Europe to include variants of its sporty N-Line. The N-Line is a trim package that enlists some stylistic additions of Hyundai's N motorsports inspired models, such as the i30 N.
Newly teased images – possibly building up to a 2019 Geneva Motor Show unveil – suggest the Tucson will the first of Hyundai’s SUV models to receive the N-Line treatment. The images point to visual enhancements on the outside and a sportier interior.
Additionally, Hyundai has announced that the Tucson will be receiving diesel-hybrid 2.0-litre CRDi variant, which combines 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine with a 16 bhp electric motor, powered by a 48-volt, 0.44 kWh hybrid system. The larger Santa Fe will reportedly receive the same powertrain in due time.
Currently, the N-Line package is available on i30 hatchback for the European market.
