Out of the 14 individuals that were involved in the incident, six people were pronounced dead at the scene. The seventh victim, which was the co-driver of the van, was taken to the Hospital Kuala Lumpur along with six other victims but sadly, he passed away while receiving medical treatment, the Star reported. Investigations by the authorities are still underway to determine the cause of the accident. The incident took place near KM4.8 of Jalan Genting Highlands at around 1.15 pm based on the distress call received by the Pahang Fire and Rescue Department.
