Geneva 2018: BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupe Breaks Cover
所有资讯BMW has unveiled the new Concept M8 Gran Coupe at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show, a model that we reckon many have been looking forward to.
Sharp-eyed ones amongst you guys might have noticed that this Concept M8 features four doors, typical of BMW models wearing the Gran Coupe name. Now, before you lose your mind, Adrian van Hooydonk, Senior Vice President BMW Group Design did mention that the car you see here previews the future at a look at an exotic variant of the new BMW 8 Series.
The front end of the BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupe is unmistakably BMW, with BMW’s signature kidney grille surrounded by a pair of slim head lights with yellow DRLs. Large air intakes on the lower half of the bumper give the Concept M8 an aggressive appearance, with a pair of air curtains help stabilize the car at high speeds.
As for the rear end, the large integrated duck tail spoiler, quad muffler, and bold-looking bumper inserts does give the Concept M8 Gran Coupe a menacing look.
Unique to this concept is the gold surround on the kidney grille, side vents, wheels, muffler tips, and window trim. BMW also mentioned that the paint, called Salève Vert, is able to change from green to greyish blue in different lights.
The BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupe will be BMW M’s flagship model when the model is introduced in 2019, to which it will be joined by the regular 8 Series Gran Coupe and 8 Series Coupe to complete the lineup.
