And since we haven’t yet driven it ourselves, its staggering collection of numbers will have to suffice.Its race-derived 4.6-litre V8 engine revs to a lofty 8,500 rpm and produces 608hp and 528Nm of torque. Supplementing this petrol power plant at the rear is a 154hp electric motor, and these two drive units transmit power to the wheels via a 7-speed PDK double-clutch transmission. Front drive is also provided via a 125hp electric motor that can decouple itself from the front axle when not needed or deliver its instant power when it’s called for. All said, it has a combined power output of 887hp and 1,275Nm of torque.It allows this amazing 1,700kg machine to reach 100km/h from standstill in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 340km/h. Since it’s a plug-in hybrid, its battery can be recharged from the mains and even affords this car an all-electric range of 19 kilometres.Alright, enough talk.
