GALLERY: BMW Concept M4 GTS Is In Malaysia For A Special Preview
所有资讯Not even visitors of the recent Frankfurt Motor Show got to see it, but here is the BMW Concept M4 GTS making a special appearance in Malaysia, after it has only been displayed publicly once before, at the Pebble Beach show in the US mid last month.
Believed to at some lengths preview a future model for the US market, the Concept M4 GTS also features a lot of new tech and design that BMW’s M Division is developing for the street.
It is also heavily derived from the BMW M4 MotoGP Safety Car, from which the M4 GTS borrows a similar manually-adjustable front splitter and rear wing, a carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) hood, and the ground-breaking water-injection technology.
The front splitter and wheels are highlighted in an Acid Orange colour, while the overall body is painted in Frozen Dark Grey Metallic.
What’s also impressive about the M4 GTS displayed here is BMW’s latest OLED technology taillights. The M4 GTS is the first car to wear them since they were first displayed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January early this year.
Full details surrounding the car will be revealed in a matter of weeks, says BMW, but we wouldn’t be too surprised to find the MotoGP Safety Car’s 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six BMW TwinPower engine, developing similar or slightly more than its 431hp and 550Nm of torque.
BMW says full details surrounding the Concept M4 GTS will be revealed in a matter of weeks.
