Ford Ranger Raptor Updated with New Features - RM208,888
所有资讯Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), the sole distributor of Ford vehicles in Malaysia today announced the introduction of the new Ford Ranger Raptor with added safety and few additional features.
The big news is the addition of driver assistance features like Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with Vehicle and Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, as well as Lane Departure Warning and Assist.
Out of the three, the AEB and Lane Departure Warning features were only available in the Ranger 4x4 WildTrak variant previously.
Driver assistance aside, other new features include an additional USB charging port on the rear-view mirror, LED projector headlamps that replace the outgoing xenon lights, front parking sensors, front passenger seatbelt reminder, as well as a new Performance Blue exterior colour which replaces the previous Lightning Blue.
Under the hood, there are no changes as power still comes from the same 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo diesel engine and 10-speed automatic transmission combination, delivering 213 PS and 500 Nm of torque.
Off-roading credentials include 850mm water wading, FOX Racing Shox dampers, and a Terrain Management System (TMS) that offers six modes including the Baja Mode.
The list of other standard features comprises keyless entry with push-start ignition, automatic wipers, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, eight-way powered driver’s seat, active noise cancellation, dual-zone auto climate control, a 230V power socket, as well as the SYNC 3 infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Thanks to the new features, the price of the Ford Ranger Raptor, which is available in four colours (Performance Blue, Conquer Grey, Absolute, Black, Arctic White), has increased by RM9,000 from RM198,888 to RM208,888 (on the road without insurance).
