Patents are usually a good way to see what companies are going to get up to ahead of the their actual fully developed products, but we have been mislead numerous times before in the past - especially with things like Porsche's variable compression ratio patent that still hasn't seen the light of day.The latest in patent news was for Dyson's electric car, which Automotive News Europe has picked up on. It goes hand in hand with an automotive page that was recently posted by Dyson on their website which details its history in the automotive world, and should eventually build to their wholly designed and produced electric vehicles.Unfortunately, the patents awarded only reveal fairly broad strokes in terms of the design. Dyson is mulling larger wheels for efficiency, a low centre of gravity for better handling, and fully reclining seats.
