BMW X5 Special Edition and X6 M Sport Edition - In Europe Starting Dec 2017

BMW has introduced two special edition variants of their popular X5 and X6 SUVs – the BMW X5 Special Edition and X6 M Sport Edition, which will be made available in Europe starting December 2017.

The BMW X5 Special Edition brings together the M Sport package with Dakota leather trim, including heated seats for the driver and front passenger. The Alcantara and leather interior is further highlighted with M badging on the seats.

A sun protection glass will also be offered on the X5 Special Edition, including the Multifunctional Instrument Display (not available for the X5 xDrive40e). All variants of the BMW X5 are available in Special Edition guise, with the exception of the BMW X5 M50d.

The BMW X6 M Sport Edition will be offered with a new Long Beach Blue metallic exterior paint shade and carbon fibre interior trim strip. Carbon Black and Mineral White metallic paint finishes are available as alternatives.

Along the flanks, 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design are fitted with mixed-size run-flat tyres, alternatively, 21-inch M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design can be ordered as an option for the special-edition model. The M Sport Edition also adds the interior and exterior equipment from the M Sport package.

All engine variants of the X6 are available with the M Sport Edition specification, with the exception of the BMW X6 M50d.
