Bermaz Previews New Mazda CX-5 2.5 CKD
所有资讯After a temporary hiatus, the facelifted Mazda CX-5 2.5-litre will be resuming its sales locally very soon. Previously, the CX-5 2.5-litre facelift was only available in fully imported form. There were also a small number of CX-5 2.5-litre pre-facelift model that were locally assembled at the Berjaya-Sime Darby co-owned Inokom plant in Kulim.
In addition to that, there was some adjustment to the 2.0-litre CX-5’s model range, which has been rationalised to just one 2WD (front wheel drive) variant, available in Mid and High specs. Four wheel drive is now only available on the 2.5-litre model.
The new facelift model can be identified by its new front grille, LED front headlamps (low beam only) with integrated LED daytime running lights, new LED tail light cluster, slightly different dashboard fascia, additional chrome trimmings in the interior, and a 7-inch full colour touchscreen display MZD Connect infotainment system.
Prices for all models have yet to be confirmed as this is only a preview but we understand from Bermaz that there won’t much changes in prices, especially compared to the pre-facelift locally assembled model.
Key highlights for the new CX-5 2.5-litre include leather-trimmed interior, leather seats, power adjustable driver’s seat, 6-speaker infotainment system with 7-inch full colour touch screen with MZD Connect, six airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, DSC and TCS, automatic air-conditioning system.
For the CX-5 2.0-litre, the High specs models adds the following over the base Mid specs model:

- Front parking sensor
- LED headlamps
- LED tail lights
