Bermaz Motor Announces Updated Mazda CX-5 And CX-9

Bermaz Motor, the official importer and distributor of Mazda vehicles in Malaysia has announced that the CX-5 and CX-9 will be receiving updated equipment.

For the Mazda CX-5, a power tailgate now comes as standard on the GLS variants, including the 2.0L, 2.5L, and 2.2L diesel variants of the CX-5. The power tailgate offers hands-free access to the rear for easy loading and unloading with a push of a button on the key fob. For added peace of mind, the power tailgate also features an anti-pinch function.

As for the Mazda CX-9, this fully-imported SUV is now equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and a 360-degree view monitor. In addition to the earlier mentioned equipment, the Mazda CX-9 will also be equipped with ventilated front seats.

The Mazda CX-5 variants will be priced at, inclusive of 10% SST:

• 2.0 GL : RM132,389.59
• 2.0 GLS : RM148,214.45
• 2.5 GLS : RM160,004.00
• 2.2 GLS 2WD : RM164,693.85
• 2.2 GLS AWD : RM174,479.90

As for the Mazda CX-9, the new prices are as follow:

• 2.5T 2WD : RM288,610.40
• 2.5T 4WD : RM305,610.40

Elsewhere, Bermaz has also released the updated prices for Mazda models to reflect the inclusion of the 10% SST. 

The updated pricelist also indicates that Bermaz Motor has streamlined the Mazda 2 lineup, whereby the High Spec variants of the B-segment model now come exclusively with LED headlights, while the halogen units are found only on the Mid Spec variants.

Additionally, the Mazda Biante has also been dropped from Bermaz Motor's lineup.
