Bangkok 2019: BMW Thailand Releases X7 Price, To Debut At Motor Show
所有资讯The Thai market is seen as one of the more important ones in ASEAN, after Malaysia. Last year, the brand moved 12,036 BMW models in the Thai market, while the Rayong plant manufactured 15,302 units, with over 25% of them were shipped out for exports.
Thus, Thailand gets many of the latest models ahead of Malaysia. After previewing the G15 BMW 8 Series and G05 BMW X5 at November’s Motor Expo, BMW has chosen to launch the new G07 BMW X7 at the upcoming Bangkok International Motor Show 2019.
Only one variant will be available, and it is the M50d which is powered by a 400 hp / 760 Nm quad-turbo 3.0-litre diesel engine. BMW Thailand has priced the new luxurious 3-row SUV from 8.999 million Thai Baht.
Standard features include seating for seven, M Sport package, and some advanced driving-assist features. The BMW X7 M50d also comes standard with an M Sport differential, a sportier chassis set-up, and 21-inch M-design alloy wheels.
The BMW X7 also has the honour of having the largest BMW Kidney grille in the brand’s history. Similar to other SUV models by the brand, the BMW X7 is manufactured at BMW Spartanburg, USA.
Comparing the BMW X7 to the Audi Q7, the Audi is smaller in size and also starts from a much lower price of 4.799 million Baht. Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz Thailand has long discontinued the BMW X7’s direct rival, the GLS-CLass. Lexus meanwhile does not offer the LX model in Thailand.
