Bangkok 2017: Toyota Hilux Rocco Shown In All Its Glory
所有资讯Thailand just witnessed the revealing of the facelifted version of the Toyota Hilux (sold as Hilux Revo in Thailand) earlier this month, featuring a few new features revolving around the cosmetics and convenience.
Besides the new looks and features, the big news was definitely the introduction of the new range-topping Rocco variant, which we managed to get close with at the ongoing 2017 Thailand International Motor Expo.
Powered by a 2.8-litre 1GD-FTV turbodiesel engine that produces 174 hp and 420 Nm of torque, the sole transmission choice is a six-speed manual, though buyers can opt to have their Hilux Rocco in 4x2 or 4x4 formats.
On the outside, Toyota has also given the Hilux Revo Rocco a more aggressive look, thanks to the black front grille, front fog light surrounds, bottom front bumper trim, side fenders, side mirrors, door handles, rear bumper and sports bar.
These are of course on top of the Tacoma-inspired front end which is only offered in the 4×4 and 4×2 Prerunner variants of the Hilux in Thailand.
Inside, the model gets a unique meter cluster design with white backlight, leather steering wheel, and dark metallic trim on the dashboard, gear lever and air vents. On top of that, the Hilux Revo Rocco also gets a smart key system.
That being said, the Hilux Revo Rocco, which is expected to come to Malaysia in the near future, is priced between 1.13 million baht and 1.19 million baht in Thailand.
