ASX CKD Pushes Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia To Record High Sales
所有资讯Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) celebrated its tenth anniversary this year by achieving a new milestone - setting a new sales record of 14,184 vehicles sold in financial year ending March 2015, up 12.8 percent from the previous financial year.
The company attributed its strong performance in the last twelve months to the locally assembled Mitsubishi ASX, which contributed 23 percent (3,299 units) of MMM's total sales for the financial year.
The ASX is assembled under contract at the Tan Chong Motor Assemblies plant in Segambut. Priced from RM114,043, the ASX supplemented the market's strong reception for the Triton, still the company's best-selling model.
Between April 2014 to March 2015, MMM sold 6,016 units of the Thailand-made Triton, contributing 42 percent of MMM's total sales.
The company will be launching an all-new Mitsubishi Triton next month.
MMM has also expanded its sales network from 42 outlets in Financial Year 2013 (FY2013) to 58 outlets in FY2014. To date, Mitsubishi Motors is represented by 58 showrooms (out of which 51 are 3S Centres) and 54 service outlets throughout Malaysia.
