All-New W177 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Launched In Malaysia, Priced From RM228k

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has just introduced the all-new W177-generation A-Class in Malaysia, available in two variants, the A200 and A250 with prices starting from RM227,888 and RM263,888 respectively.

The key highlight of the all-new W177 A-Class is its all-new Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system, which utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI), allowing users to use natural language to control various features of the new model.

Both variants of the all-new Mercedes-Benz A-Class receive dual 10.25-inch displays up front, one is for the infotainment system while the other is the digital meter cluster. Other key highlights of the all-new A-Class include:

The entry A200 is powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged (yes you’ve read that right) four-cylinder engine that does 163 hp at 5,500 rpm and 250 Nm at 1,620 – 4,000 rpm, paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT), which sends power to the front wheels.

The engine is co-developed with the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi Alliance and also powers the Renault Scenic and Grand Scenic.

The A200 comes with the following features:

• 18-inch 5 twin spoke alloy wheels
• LED headlights
• Black open-pore lime wood trim
• Leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel
• Luxury seats with Artico (synthetic) leather

The pricier A250 features a larger 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine (developed and used exclusively by Daimler) that does 224 hp at 5,500 rpm and 350 Nm at 1,800 – 4,000 rpm, also paired to a 7-speed DCT. The A250 adds:

• AMG Line exterior package
• 18-inch 5-spoke AMG alloy wheels
• AMG Line interior package
• Light longitudinal-grain aluminium trim
• Nappa leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel
• Sports seats with Artico (synthetic) leather and Dinamica microfibre

Five body colours are available, which includes:
