Toyota will be introducing an all-new Rush in Indonesia next week. Toyota's upcoming seven-seater SUV was first previewed as the DN Multisix Concept and the Daihatsu FT Concept at the 2017 and 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, respectively.

For the Indonesian market, the Toyota Rush is also sold as the Daihatsu Terios, similar to the Toyota Agya and Daihatsu Ayla twins, which are sold here as the Perodua Axia.

From the photos posted, the all-new Toyota Rush features a front end that is heavily inspired by the DN Multisix Concept, albeit toned down for production. Autonetmagz reported that this all-new Rush is equipped with Bi-Beam Projector LED headlights, power retractable side mirrors with LED turn signals, rear spoiler, LED tail lights and a shark fin antenna. The source also reported that the all-new Rush can be had in two rim sizes – 16-inch for G variants and 17-inch units for the range-topping TRD Sportivo models.

As for the cabin, Autonetmagz mentioned that the all-new Rush, in G variant, will be equipped with a reverse camera, parking sensors, digital AC with memory, seven-inch infotainment system and engine idle auto-start stop. The TRD Sportivo variant will be available with auto AC, soft touch material on the dashboard and smart entry.

Additionally, the all-new Toyota Rush also gets steering wheel-mounted audio controls, multi info display integrated into the instrument cluster, seat belt warning and three power sockets.

No mention on the actual powertrain, but it is likely that the all-new Rush will get Toyota’s range of Dual VVT-i engines.

Moving onto safety, the all-new Toyota Rush will get ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, VSA, Hill Start Assist and six airbags. The Daihatsu equivalent, according to Autonetmagz, may not get the full six airbags but could be getting a 360-degree camera instead.

Closer to home, Perodua is reportedly working on its Kembar/Nautica replacement. Could the Toyota Rush be a preview of Perodua’s upcoming SUV?
