All-New Subaru Forester Launched In Malaysia – 3 Variants, From RM139,788

A week after its first public appearance at the Carlist.my Drive Auto Fair 2019, the all-new fifth-generation Subaru Forester was officially launched earlier today at the new and upgraded Subaru showroom in Petaling Jaya.

Offered in three variants, the price of the all-new Subaru Forester, which comes with a 5-year / 100,000 km warranty, is as mentioned below:

• Forester 2.0i-L – RM139,788
• Forester 2.0i-S – RM149,788
• Forester 2.0i-S ES – RM159,788

Sitting on the new Subaru Global Platform (SGP), the all-new Forester, which is fully imported from Thailand, is 30 mm longer, 20 mm wider, and 5 mm taller than before.

It also features a larger front grille with active shutters, redesigned LED headlamps (2.0i-S and 2,0i-S ES only), C-shaped LED DRLs, new tail lamps, new bumpers, as well as a new wheel design.

Inside, the all-new Forester does not only offer more head and leg room than the outgoing model, but also a larger boot (by 100 litres).

Power comes from a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre direct-injection 4-cylinder petrol engine which produces 156 PS and 196 Nm of torque, which is paired with a CVT-type gearbox and Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.
