All-New BMW X5 Currently Undergoing Serious Testing Around The Globe
所有资讯BMW is currently testing the all-new X5’s endurance as well as its versatility.
The company today revealed a few images of the new Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) undergoing a demanding and varied testing program as part of its series development process.
The prototypes first went through winter testing in Arjeplog, Sweden, followed by gravel tracks in South Africa, and desert dune landscapes of the USA.
They were subjected both to maximum cold and scorching heat, as well as extremely dry mountain terrain and tropical humidity and muddy tracks.
Then, the all-new X5s headed to BMW’s testing grounds in the South of France, on the high-speed circuit in Talladega, US, and of course, the Nürburgring, where the new model’s new features like the Adaptive M Suspension Professional, and the Integral Active Steering were put to the test.
The folks at Munich mentioned that the coming fourth model generation’s all-round talents are better than ever before, thanks to the new suspension and chassis systems which are not only available for the first time in a BMW X model, but are also virtually unique within the competitive field.
