Lamborghini has previously treated the world with a purely rear-driven version of their V10-powered entry-model, starting with the limited run Gallardo Balboni and latterly the pre-facelift Huracan LP580-2 and its sister car, the Audi R8 RWS - both within 2018. This time, however, that naturally aspirated 5.2-litre ten-cylinder engine has been tuned to deliver 610hp at 8,000rpm and 560Nm at 6,500rpm thanks to the learnings gained from the lap record-breaking Huracan Performante. That being said, the car is missing 30hp and 40Nm over the standard Huracan Evo. However, this rear-drive version, like its all-wheel driven sibling, also benefits from the former Nurburgring crown-wearer in terms of its active aerodynamic elements and suspension setup. The company had to tweak their P-TSC (Performance Traction Control System) to suit this Huracan’s drive layout, providing slip but also balanced torque distribution to ensure optimum controllability post-oversteer and improved traction on corner exit. With the all-wheel drive system omitted, the RWD is naturally lighter, shedding 33kg and maintaining a 40/60 weight distribution across the front and rear axles respectively. Dry weight, meanwhile, stands at relative skim 1,389kg. In spite of the reduced in traction at launch, Lamborghini claims the Huracan RWD can dispatch 100km/h from rest in just 3.3 seconds, a mere 0.2 seconds slower than its all-paw counterpart. Top speed, unsurprisingly, is nearly identical at 325km/h. At all corners are 19-inch wheels as standard wrapped around Pirelli P-Zero tyres with larger 20-inch alloys available optionally. Other visual cues that set it apart from the standard Huracan Evo include a modified front air intake and splitter while at the rear we see an altered diffuser. Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini: “The Huracán EVO rear-wheel drive puts the car in the driver’s hands: the driving experience is delivered by the hardware. This car reminds the driver of Lamborghini’s pure engineering origins: the driver is at the center of the Huracán EVO RWD’s performance, with unfiltered feedback and an emotive and more engaging driving experience controlled by the pilot. ✕ 使用 WhatsApp 联系 我们依据 PDPA 保护您的个人信息。 我同意 Carlist.my 的使用条款和隐私政策 我同意接收来自 Carlist.my 及其汽车销售商、业务附属机构和合作伙伴的个性化通信。 查看最佳汽车优惠!
