2021 (G01) BMW X3 sDrive20i Launched In Malaysia - From RM273k

BMW Malaysia has officially unveiled the locally-assembled 2021 BMW X3 sDrive20i – the newest member of the BMW X range will now feature alongside the X3 xDrive30i first introduced here in 2018 and the recently introduced X3 M Competition range-topper.

Depending on when you make your purchase, the new entry-level variant of the X3 range is priced as follows:

With SST exemptions (until 30th June 2021)

• With base 2-year warranty package: RM273,797
• with Extended Warranty & Service Package: RM289,537

Without SST exemptions, post June 2021

• With base 2-year warranty package: RM281,923
• with Extended Warranty & Service Package: RM297,663

The new X3 is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-scroll turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine capable of a maximum output of 184hp and a peak torque of 300Nm between 1,350rpm – 4,000rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF 8-Speed automatic transmission. Performance numbers read 8.2 seconds for the 0-100km/h sprint, with a top speed of 215 km/h. The claimed fuel consumption stands at 7.1 litres/100km of travel.

The new X3 comes with the xLine package with exterior highlights such as the grille, side skirts and parts of the front and rear bumper in a matt aluminium. Elsewhere the BMW Individual Exterior Line highlights the roof rails in a brushed aluminium finish. Along the flanks, the X3 sDrive20i is equipped with “Y-Spoke Style 694” 19-inch light alloy wheels with runflat tyres.

On the inside, the X3’s main elements are finished in high-gloss black with other trim finishers in Pearl Chrome. Other interior highlights include a three-zone automatic air conditioning system, a 12-speaker sound system, and ambient interior lighting. Infotainment is provided by a 8.8-inch touchscreen control display, complemented by a Sensatec Instrument Panel which includes the BMW Live Cockpit Plus and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant suite.

In terms of safety assistance, the X3 is equipped Driving Assistant with Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Warning and front collision warning with brake intervention, crossing traffic warning rear and rear collision prevention. The X3 20i also notable features Parking Assistant with Reversing Assist system.

Colour offerings for the 2021 BMW X3 sDrive20i include Alpine White, Glacier Silver, Black Sapphire, and Phytonic Blue. All exterior offerings are paired with the sole Black Leather Vernasca interior upholstery with black stitching.

The 2021 BMW X3 sDrive20i is now available at all authorised BMW dealerships in Peninsular Malaysia and will be available in East Malaysia starting 20th April 2021. Customers may also book the 2021 BMW X3 sDrive20i for RM1,000 via the BMW Shop Online platform.
