2018 Jaguar XE SV Project 8 Announced, 300 Units Worldwide
所有资讯Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) has announced a more powerful version of the XE called the XE SV Project 8. Production is limited to 300 units worldwide.
According to SVO, a prototype of the Jaguar has went through its debut test at Nürburgring Nordschleife wearing an exclusive camouflage by SVO design.
Power is derived from Jaguar Land Rover's 5.0-litre supercharged V8 that does 600 PS. Following the success of the Jaguar F-Type Project 7, the XE SV Project 8 will be the company's second Collectors' Edition car. SVO said that the XE will be hand-built at their Technical Centre in Coventry.
In base form, the Jaguar XE competes against the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Audi A4. The uprated XE SV, with 600PS on tap, comfortably outmuscles other performance flagship models of the competition, such as the BMW M3 (431PS), Mercedes-AMG C63S (510PS), and even the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (510PS).
Jaguar will reveal the XE SV Project 8's full specifications on their official site on 28 June. Come 30 June at Goodwood Festival of Speed, the most powerful road-legal Jaguar in history will see its world debut.
