2017 Proton Iriz Officially On Sale In Indonesia

Proton Holdings Berhad via its subsidiary in Indonesia, PT Proton Edar Indonesia have officially launched the Proton Iriz A-Segment hatch for the Indonesian market, over the weekend.

Indonesia is the second country after Brunei to import this the Iriz hatchback. Two variants are available at the outset, to the Indonesian market, the Iriz 1.3L MT Standard and Iriz 1.3L CVT Standard, priced at IDR175,250,000 (RM58,489) and IDR185,283,000 (RM61,837), respectively.

The Proton Iriz is available in 7 colours – Cotton White, Midnight Black, Sterling Silver, Atlantic Blue, Graphite Grey, Citrus Green and Fire Red.

Dato' Ahmad Fuaad Kenali, Chief Executive Officer of Proton added, “Indonesia is an important market for Proton. Not only have we maintained strong G2G relations being ASEAN founding members, but we also share many similarities in terms of people, language, culture as well as the weather. It’s almost an extension of each other.”

Proton Edar Indonesia is supported by a total of 25 sales and after sales outlets in Indonesia, In terms of after sales services, Proton have 24 service outlets in strategic locations across Java, Kalimantan, Sumatera and Sulawesi, with 8 of them centered around Jabodetabek region. All the maintenance needs of Proton cars will be handled by these service centres.

The Proton Iriz has been on display at the FX Sudirman Mall in Senayan since the 16th of Feb, the roadshow ends on the 22nd Feb 2016. Customers will be able to get up close with the Iriz at all sales outlets starting 20th Feb 2016.
