Trimmed in Avantgarde Line specification, the C 180 comes respectably equipped with the following items:1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo engine – 156hp7G-Tronic 7-speed automatic transmissionAgility Select adjustable suspension17-inch alloy wheelsAudio 20 CD infotainment - internet capability, radio, twin tuner, CD player, Bluetooth, satellite navigationActive Park Assist – parallel and reverse perpendicularAt the other end of the scale is the C 300, kitted in AMG Line trim and powered by an uprated version of the 200 and 250’s 2.0-litre turbocharged engine to generate 245hp and 370Nm. At RM307,888 with on-road costs excluding insurance, it squares nicely against BMW’s similarly-powered 330i M Sport (252hp, 350Nm, RM298k).Mated with a 7-speed automatic transmission as with the rest of the C-Class range, the C 300 comes in at 5.9 seconds for the century sprint en route to a governed top speed of 250km/h.
