2016 Mazda BT-50 Facelift Begins Production In Thailand
所有资讯Production of the new 2016 Mazda BT-50 has begun at the company’s manufacturing plant in Thailand, Auto Alliance (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (AAT). Mazda Motor Corporation plans to introduce the facelift model from the second half of 2015, beginning with Thailand and Australia.
Previously, we revealed a spyshot of the refreshed pickup truck that showed its new front fascia and the changes are the same as those seen in this promo shot released by Mazda.
The front grille loses its honeycomb design and now features a thicker horizontal element with the Mazda emblem rested in the centre. Elsewhere, the headlamps now feature a blackened design while the wheels appear to be inspired by the pickup’s smaller sibling, the Mazda 2.
Now photos of the cabin were provided but expect minor updates including the addition of Mazda’s MZD Connect infotainment system seen on more recent models.
Similarly, powertrain options will most likely include a 3.2-litre five-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine producing 200PS and 470Nm of torque, sent through a six-speed automatic gearbox to be carried over, along with the smaller capacity 2.2-litre units.
