2015 Audi A3 Carbon Edition Confirmed For Malaysia: Limited To 30 Units, From RM195k

Just as we spotted it on Audi Malaysia’s website nearly a week ago, here it is, officially confirmed. The 2015 Audi A3 is now available as a special Carbon Edition variant, which will be limited to just 30 units.

Effectively a 1.4 TFSI model, the Audi A3 Carbon Edition is equipped with specially-selected Audi Genuine Accessories, just like we showed you. The powertrain is left completely untouched, meaning the 1.4-litre turbocharged engine paired with the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (S tronic) will continue to develop 125hp and 200Nm of torque.

Prices for the special unit start from RM194,333 (OTR without insurance), and you can place your bookings or check out the Carbon Edition model at all Audi showrooms nationwide.

The exterior and interior upgrades are just as we told you before, featuring:

• Front spoiler, glossy black
• Audi exclusive black styling package
• Tailgate spoiler, carbon
• 5-arm rotor design wheels, black matt, 18 (upgrade from standard 17-inch alloys)
• Front spoiler, rear apron, side sills in glossy black
• Comfort key
• Exterior mirror housings, carbon
• Front + rear parking aid
• Side sills, glossy black

One item we did miss back when we first scoop this news, was that the A3 Carbon Edition would also gain an individually numbered stainless steel plaque on the centre console, underlining its coveted status and innate rarity.

Last, but certainly not least, the Audi A3 Carbon Edition comes equipped with an MMI® radio with MMI® control panel features a 5.8” colour display along with a 10 loudspeaker Audi sound system.

The A3 Carbon Edition will also only be available in Glacier White body colour, maintaining the special model’s strong contract of black on white.
