Home News Auto News With the XPander Coming, Mitsubishi Moves to New Parts Warehouse to Meet After Sales Demands With the XPander Coming, Mitsubishi Moves to New Parts Warehouse to Meet After Sales Demands Auto News Gokul | September 24, 2020 02:08 pm With the highly anticipated all-new Mitsubishi XPander all set to make its Malaysian debut in less than two weeks, the company has started preparing itself to meet growing demands. Mitsubishi has confirmed that the model will be a locally-assembled (CKD) model and will be the first Mitsubishi model to be built at the company’s new production facility in Pekan, Pahang. There is no indication of pricing as of now but a full-fledged CKD assembly should signal a competitive price tag, close to that of its biggest competitors – the Honda BR-V, Toyota Avanza, and Perodua Aruz – which all reside within then RM72k-RM90k bracket. So, since we're looking at a potentially large volume model, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) announced that the company has recently migrated to a new parts warehouse in Shah Alam, Selangor as part of an expansion plan to meet with increasing after sales demands. With a storage capacity of up to 40,000 square feet, the expansion will see an improvement in warehouse operations including consolidating all holdings under-one-roof. This move will speed up the delivery of parts required by all MMM authorized business partners including 52 dealers nationwide. So, if you’re concerned about the availability of parts for the upcoming XPander, or other Mitsubishi models sold by MMM at the moment, looks like you can relax as it may not be an issue after all. “The relocation of our warehouse is in line with the continuous growth of Mitsubishi Motors business in Malaysia. The new parts warehouse is located at a strategic location with less road congestion and easy access to Federal and KESAS highway." "With this accessibility, we will be able to accelerate our parts delivery to MMM’s business partners as we constantly seek to improve customer’s after-sales experience by reducing cost and increasing our work efficiency,” said Tomoyuki Shinnishi, Chief Executive Officer of MMM. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
