Weststar Maxus launches G10 ten-seater MPV

Weststar Malaysia recently expanded its product lineup in Malaysia with the introduction of the G10 people-mover.

Priced at RM139,888 on the road, the G10, which is said to have British heritage, is a ten-seater MPV that is aimed at customers with large families.

Powering the G10 is a 2.0 litre TGI engine which produces 225hp and 345Nm of peak torque, paired to it is a six-speed automatic transmission with manual override feature.

Designed by Torino, the G10 comes with features like full leather seats, cruise control, dual-zone air-conditioning, a panoramic roof, six-speaker audio system, keyless entry with push-start ignition, as well as a reverse camera. . Safety features on the other hand, includes dual airbags, ABS and EBD.

Tan Sri Syed Azman, Weststar Group’s managing director said that the company, which aims to sell 500 units of the G10 this year, has already received 120 orders prior to the launch.

He added that the G10, which is currently being imported from China, will be assembled locally by July and that it will be exported to ASEAN countries in 2017.
